American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Program of 2021 is a $1.9 trillion economic rescue package designed to accelerate the United States’ recovery from the catastrophic economic and public health impacts brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
ARPA specifically allocates $130.2 billion, through the U.S. Department of Treasury, to Cities and Counties; providing once-in-a-generation opportunities for participating communities to make vital investments in infrastructure, public health, and economic revitalization. Each ARPA funded project presents a unique set of complexities and will require City and Counties to have tailored solutions and work levels for successful execution, compliance with federal and state requirements, and schedule adherence.
