I just wanted to send you an email to brag on a couple of your employees, Betty Collier and Sharon Hernandez-Dorow. Dale with TDORO was here on Thursday, 12/10 to perform a final state monitoring on our contract 727359. Sharon provided all the information that Dale requested. She had sent an email giving us heads up on what the state was going to require from us. I was in the meeting with Dale and Betty and I was very impressed with all the paperwork that Sharon had put together in an expandable folder. Dale would ask Betty for something and Betty would just go through Sharon’s files and pull what he needed. Over all the monitoring went very smooth.
There was one issue that Dale thought that we had not met our match yet. But on Friday, 12/11, Sharon took care of it. She called the state and reminded them that we returned some grant funds, and that all match commitments had been met. Sharon even called Urban Engineering and told them if they had any questions to call her. She pushed until the state finally paid the final (draw 8) engineering services to Urban Engineering. She said it will probably be after the new year when the state finally processes and releases the last draw for GrantWorks. Sharon’s hard work and dedication to this project certainly made our jobs easier.
